With thousands of images from my Hungary trip yet to sort, rolex replica last Monday, I decided to take a break with a friend and visit West Norfolk.
Not a brilliant day for weather, so, after lunch at the Thornham Deli (ham egg and chips - highly recommended) we made our way to Burnham Overy Staithe to see if we could get some Terns fishing in the harbour.
Not long to wait before a couple of Little Terns came in but the key was to photograph them against the occasional blue sky - not easy in ever changing weather conditions.
and an occasional Common Tern.
A very enjoyable couple of hours, despite not being packed with brilliant photos.
We then went to Titchwell RSPB to see if the Spotted Redshanks in their glorious swiss replica watches summer plumage were showing. Just after getting settled in the hide, the weather really set in.
and after that the light was awful. The only reasonable chance of a photo was a Black-tailed Godwit with a reed background
and no Spotted Redshanks on view.
Not a total failure for the day so now back to the Hungary images - I am still ploughing through day 3 with hundreds of images of Red-footed Falcon and Roller.
