It would be interesting to see if another week brought any more good photo opportunities.

Last Monday, I needed to fill up the car at the local Tesco's so rolex replica watches decided to take my camera and drive through the RSPB reserve at Fen Drayton Lakes, not really expecting anything. Some photogrpahers were waiting at the gate to the field where the Short-eared Owls have been showing but no sign of one at the time.

I stopped for a chat and up one flew and proceded to quarter the field, giving excellent views.

Unexpected but very welcome never-the-less.

On Thursday, with a friend, I retruned to Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk to see if I could improve on the images of the Red-necked Grebe from before Christmas. It was there but very distant so we left abd drove to Holkham with no success and back to the Grebe which had moved position but still no nearer so off to Titchwell RSPB.

With hazy sunshine and little wind, there were opportunities for photos of a male rolex replica Gadwall with reflections

Further up the reserve,  a Little Grebe appeared on a nearby bank and out of the water - so unusual and then paddled away in the sunlight

On the way back, a Water Rail showed under the sea wall where we were standing. Although shooting downwards is something I try to avoid, with a Water Rail out in the open, I made an exception.

and the day finished off with a male Teal posing in the sun.

So, some decent images from the week but not that exciting. Well, photographers are never satisfied.
